The purpose of this blog is to point people in the right direction when making a decision on how to make money online.

We all know it can be very difficult to make money online. There are so many scams out there, you just never know which is one and which one isn't. The problem when people look for online businesses is that they always want easy money RIGHT NOW. Unfortunately this is not reality. It would be very nice to be able to turn on your computer and VOILA there is 10,000 usd in your paypal account.

In order to succeed in online business, you must first select the right business. This seems quite obvious, but it's not as easy as you may think. There are alot of "companies" out there, who will just take your money and run. But why?, would it not to easier to actually create an honest business that supplies good quality products and treats their employees/affiliates fairly? The internet is an amazing tool that allows people to sell and buy products and services 24/7 and from anywhere in the world. Everytime these "businesses" scam someone, not only do they lose their business, but good old word of mouth advertising will prevent others from falling for it.

The funny thing is, this actually creates more work for these scammers. Everytime they start up a new scam, they need to do everything over. Successful online businesses only need to be started once, and when they get going, maintaining them can be quite easy.

There are alot of opportunities that should be avoided as much as possible:

1. Any program that REQUIRES you to recruit people in order to make money and not on the selling of goods or services, this is a huge reason as to why online businesses have bad press. These companies pay you money for each referral you send to them. A company must be product or service driven.

2. Any type of gifting or chain letter program. These would not even be considered as real businesses, but people do join them and the only people who make any decent money are the ones at the top who started it. These programs basically involve people just handing down money to each other, but they just end up being another pyramid scheme.

3. Most programs that involve reselling information. Alot of these "companies" claim that they will show you how to make bucketloads of money. Then, when you actually look at the product, it just shows you how to sell the exact same information that you just purchased. These are garbage.

4. Programs that claim you will make money overnight. Although some programs will produce real results, most of this is pure nonsense. Any successful internet marketer will tell you that it took time and effort to achieve their goals.

There are a few ways you can make real money online. You can join a network marketing company, where you get paid for selling products/services and and helping others build the business. This is different from recruiting companies because the sole objective in said companies is to obtain money from people just for signing up. There are no products or services sold. These companies are considered pyramid schemes and avoided at all costs. These are categorized under #1. The other way to make money online is to become an affiliate marketer.

With network marketing, you sell products and build your business by helping others promote and sell the products These programs do require effort and time, they will not make you tremendous amounts of money overnight, but some people do build a large income generating business in a very short time. These programs are all about team work. If you do not help people, you do not make money. You can look at this as either as downfall or a benefit. Personally, I believe this is a benefit because it creates a residual income for life and you are helping people achieve the same. Alot of people do not like network marketing companies because of the way they market their goods. This way is actually better than most companies, as people get paid to use their products! These people "supposedly" do not like these types of companies because of its business structure. I DISAGREE, THESE COMPANIES CAN CREATE LIFELONG RESIDUAL INCOME. THESE PEOPLE ARE UPSET ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL OR THEY HAVE HEARD ONLY NEGATIVE THINGS FROM PEOPLE WHO WERE UNSUCCESSFUL.

It is true that some companies are scams. These ones are/were made in a pyramid fashion where everyone who started/starts the business makes all of the money. If you sold products, the people at the top would get the majority of the sales commission. THIS IS NOT TRUE WITH GOOD NETWORK MARKETING COMPANIES!
